The Best Breakfast Spots on Milwaukee's East Side

Image
There are mornings where nothing sounds better than some sizzling bacon, a fresh cup of coffee and a big-flippin' waffle. Luckily, Milwaukee has a plethora of fabulous breakfast-joints to choose from. Here are some of my favorites. The Original Pancake House on Downer: The Original Pancake House on Downer Ave is the bomb.com. I'm talking majorly delicious breakfast food, people! Now, I may be the teensyist-bit biased since I'm currently involved in a love affair with their banana french toast, however, I think the large line outside every weekend is enough to prove the city of Milwaukee is feelin' the love for the Pancake House too. Famous for their bacon pancakes and delightful coffee, this cozy little East Side favorite is the perfect place to spend your morning. http://bit.ly/2sAxlZW http://bit.ly/2Cppv54 Beans and Barley Cafe:   Where my vegetarians at? Goddess Provisions February Box Review

Image
I was anxiously awaiting my second ever box from Goddess Provisions to arrive last weekend and I was not disappointed. This month's theme was Faerie Magic, intended to help one connect with nature and enhance their zest for life. Well, I've never been too into Faeries, but I love me some nature and am ready for a little extra zest here and there! Mason's Mushrooms- No, I didn't get mailed a supply of "magic mushrooms" via the USPS, Mason's Mushrooms is a powdery blend of eight "super-mushrooms" to help boost your immune system. According to the back of the bag the blend can be steeped as a tea, mixed-in with hot chocolate or added to your favorite meal. Being the tea lover that I am I took a small scoop and added it to a cup of boiling hot water, it pretty much tasted like drinking broth. I wasn't too wild about the blend on it's own, but I think there's potential for it to be tasty when used properly.  http://bit.ly/2EkoP2H
