My Adventure Bucket List (U.S.)

Since the idea of putting all of my adventure dreams and aspirations into list-form seems borderline impossible let's start this post off with a bad pun...

Texas:
Why? Because everything's bigger in Texas. Plus they have awesome architecture and ballin' Mexican food options. Anywhere with tacos, gauc or burritos is a place I want to be! While in Texas I want to see the famous bachelor bats, do the San Antonio river walk and check out the Alamo. I would also need to hit up a few spooky destinations and have an outdoor adventure or two... but that goes without sayin'.

Oregon:
Bucket list destination #1: The Tillamook rain forest. Yup, you read that right, Oregon has it's own rain forest! What the whattt? Home of the banana slug, the Tillamook rain forest is a place I would love to explore! Whilst in Oregon a pit-stop in Portland would be necessary. Who would I be if I didn't want to visit the land infamous for hipsters and flannel? Besides, Portlandia has piqued my interest perhaps I'd encounter a few interesting characters of my own.

The Great Smoky Mountains:
Not really much to explain here... The Smoky Mountains are glorious and beautiful, what's not to like?

Anywhere in Arizona:
Arizona looks just lovely! With it's cacti, canyon landscapes and cute little homes! Between all the historic sites, national monuments and national parks AZ has a lot to offer! Not to mention AZ is a UFO hot-spot so the opportunity to investigate my own x-file case may arise.

Zion National Park:
Zion has been on my list for a few years now. My interest was mostly inspired by an acquaintance's endless Instagram posts showing off the park in all it's breathtaking glory.

New Orleans:
Land of mardi gras, voodoo and plenty of history, New Orleans seems like it's own little world and I want to see it! Nightlife and jazz music would definitely be a 'must' on this journey. With traditional dishes such as gumbo and jambalaya I may have to be a little daring since spicy food (as in hot) normally makes my tongue scream-out in anguish.

Key West, FL:
This little island has gotten my attention! I'm not quite sure what there is to do out in Key West aside from sip on some dranks and soak up the sun but I am intrigued! Besides, they have key lime pie so that's always a plus!

Maine:
While I'm not a fan of cold weather Maine looks rather beautiful. Maine is one of the few states that doesn't allow outdoor advertisements due to it's natural beauty. Seems like something that might be worth checking out.

Las Vegas:
More specifically one destination in Las Vegas, Zak Bagans' Haunted museum. Although, I wouldn't be opposed to spending a night partying it up on the strip.

Anywhere and everywhere in California:
As I mentioned above, how the heck would I be able to list off every place I want to see! There are too many to keep track of and the list grows/changed on the regular. That being said, California would be a pretty nifty place to check out.

This list seems like a good place to start, let's just call it part 1.
