Thoughts Everyone Has When Enduring a Hangover

Image
Ugh, hangovers, am I right or am I right?  Sure, last night was filled with good times and excitement but come morning you're plagued with instant regret as your body mercilessly punishes you for absorbing that liquid poison into your blood stream. "WHYYYYY!?!?!?" you shout internally, cursing drunk you for having a little too much fun. "What did I do to deserve this cruel fate?" The answer is quite simple really, going by the name of Tequila, the shot small in size but mighty in power. Not to mention, totally capable of kicking your a$$. Some hangovers feel like they come straight out of the 8th circle of Hell. Plus there's a rumor going around that as you become even more of an old bean the hangovers get even nastier. Fate can be cruel, one time blessing you with a post-drinking day filled with cheer and good health, and the next bringing a doomsday filled with next-morning misery. Of course there is the unfavorable condition of vomiting at eve...

Visit Trempealeau WI

Image
Trempealeau is Wisconsin's Best Kept Secret Which leads me to ponder why exactly I'm about to share such a juicy secret with all of you. However, seeing as I find Trempealeau to be the most majestic place in all of Western Wisco I figured others deserve to know of this beauty as well! If you look through my previous posts you'll see this place isn't a new topic for me and that's simply because I love it there so much it keeps me coming back for more! So, in case I have persuaded you to check this town out here are some of my favorite things to do in Trempealeau Wisconsin! Check out the Great River Trail: The Great River Trail is a 24 mile portion of a series of connecting bike trails along the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi river. Packed full of fantastic sights and abundant in wild creatures such as frogs, snakes and birds, oh my! The Great River Trail is a must-do for any outdoors enthusiast! Not to mention completing the entirety of this beastly bike que...

First Impression of Stranger Things

Image
Netflix original series, you have done it again! Although I only made it through 1 and a half episodes last night I must say I've got a good feeling about Netflix's new show "Stranger Things". Mystery, suspense and a hint of the paranormal this show has all the good stuff. Not to mention the story takes place in what appears to be the late 80's- early 90's taking me back to a simpler time of life. Complete with mounds of delightfully cringe-worthy outfits for your viewing enjoyment! So far the show entails a government conspiracy, mysterious monsters, a strange girl with nonhuman abilities and a cast of goofy lovable characters. What more could one ask for? Bring on the strange and unusual!

So In-tents

Image
Camping is In-Tents Have you ever been camping? Have you ever been camping while a menacing storm rages full speed above your tiny tent? If you answered "yes" to that question you will probably agree with the remarks I am about to make. It is my theory that every human shares at least one common thought during that "Oh S*^%" moment of attempting to survive the night while devious rain clouds decide to let it all pour out... **OMG I'm going to get crushed by a tree** **This is the end, I've lived a good life** **I'm about to get struck by lightening aren't I?** **This tent is going to get swept away in a flash flood** **Dear God, please keep me safe, thank you for all the blessings in my life, I promise to live a better life if you help me make it through the night** **Where do all the woodland creatures run off to?** **Who's going to be the lucky winner that finds my body...** **It's only 3AM!?!?!?! WTFFFF!!!!*** And lastly, wh...

Spooky, scary stuff!

Image
I love the paranormal.  Ghosts and ghouls have always had a special place in my heart. I've been intrigued by the unknown for as long as I can remember and thus have thrown myself into a few spooky situations here and there. I am the proud owner of various books highlighting notable "haunted" locations in my state and have managed to voyage to as many as possible. Lately my quench for scary adventures has not been satisfied but, I still love to talk about my past experiences so I figured why not share a few with you!  This first tale is one of more coincidence than anything. We traveled down a tiny back-road in Weyauwega WI. However, this wasn't just any country road this was the infamous Marsh Road. Legend states that Marsh Rd is plagued by a ravenous "Goat Man" with a taste for teenage flesh! Back in the day there was a "make-out couch" located half way down the road. A perfect place for youngsters to sneak off to in the wee hours of the ...
