Well, Hello There

3 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Woahhhhh, how did this happen?!? It seems as if December has flown by. I need to kick it into gear and get into the Christmas spirit. Milwaukee continues to be snowless as ever creating seasonal confusion. Not to fear, this is nothing a bit of Christmas Vacation and Elf can't fix. In other good news I will be witnessing the cinematic excellence that is Star Wars:The Force Awakens this evening, I look forward to the Harrison Ford goodness that awaits! As I mentioned earlier Wisconsin has been unseasonably warm this December which can only lead to one thing, adventures outside!! Hoorah! A few weeks ago Jake and I checked out the Parnell Towner. The tower is one of the highlights of the infamous Ice Age Trail, totaling 60 feet high. This trail starts off with a bang, one must conquer two flights of steep stairs just to reach the base of Parnell Tower. If you love stairs I have good news for you, even more stairs await if you wish to climb the towe...

We need to talk... I am addicted to Gotham. I just started watching Gotham this week on Netflix and I have become shamelessly addicted! This show is so good!! The characters are brutally twisted and ruthless, I love it. My personal favorite thus far is the Penguin, being the charming little creeper that he is. I'm only 4 episodes in, each episode is 42 minutes long which is kind of long after an exhausting day for a sleepy lass like myself, but this show has me hooked! I would definitely recommend Gotham to any Batman freak who has a soft side for the villains like me, we all know the villains got it going on! One more thing, this show doesn't go light on the gore, so if your into blood and action you'll get it! Aside from some young Bruce Wayne goodness I've been trying to cope with this gross weather, darkness by 4:25 PM... no me gusta, someone must put an end to this madness! Not to mention the enemy is making it's way towards my city... that's right...

Hello Friends! My deepest condolences, I have failed to write in this lovely blog for quite some time now. I have been extremely busy with my first semester in college as a returning student. That's right I'm an old freshman and let me tell you even though I'm only about 4-5 years older than my now peers I feel ancient.... wise and ancient, and awesome. ;p  Anyways, the reason I write to you today is because apparently I have been doing something that some consider revolutionary, a game changer if you will. The other day I was at work, doing my thangggg when a client asked what kind of lipstick I was wearing, requesting she not think I'm a super weirdo I said, "this is kind of weird, I use my boots like pockets so don't judge me", and I pulled out my lipstick/gloss/stuff... and to my absolute astonishment she had a light bulb moment. "ERMERGERDDD that's a great idea! I'm going to do that with my boots too now! You should blog about that!...

Freakin' Bee's are ruining my life! Every gal darn time I try to have a nice little sit down outside a blasted bee has to buzz on over and harass me. Dear bee, Why do you love me so? Do I smell pleasant to you? Does the shirt I'm wearing attract your curiosity? I know you might be really nice but I'm just a bit terrified of you. Maybe we should get to know each other better... have a short chat and grab some coffee, we could be the best of friends. Bee what are you doing!? You stung me!! Oh Haiiiiiii, Thirsty Thursday is upon us! Who am I kidding, I rarely crack any bevs open any day of the week aside from the weekends, but you can't blame me for trying to be cool... Hello friends! Today I want to talk about something a bit random, that isn't something everyone would consider exciting, but hey, it pumps me up so let me tell you about my new little friend, TOMS deodorant!  Yup, that's right I am actually taking the time to sit down and write a post about deodorant, why? Simply because this stuff is awesome. I had read several articles in the past about regular store brand deodorant being pumped full of aluminum, clogging your pores, and using evil chemicals to stop your sweat and stench in it's track. Sleepy Saturday. I cannot seem to keep my eyes open today, my attempts to stay hydrated with high quality H2o as my fuel this lovely Saturday morning are proving to be unsuccessful.  None the less, happy weekend to you! I hope it's filled with fun times and adventure. I am hitting up the grand state of Illinois this weekend, let's hear it for the FIBS. Just kidding... or am I. All joking aside in just a few moments I will be voyaging south and visiting some lovely places, first up on the agenda we have the Caterpillar Museum, where my boyfriend will boast the joys of mining and educate me on the lovely company that is CAT. Followed up with a trip to the IL State Fair to see Fall Out Boy!! The inner high school fangirl in me is geeking out hardcore at the moment. I was one of the emo kids in high school with posters of Pete Wentz adorning my walls complete with his glorious "guy liner" as the lovely term was coined. Oh hey August! When did you get here, nice of you to drop by so soon!  Wow, August is here already this summer has been rolling by, with lots of good memories and amazing weather to accompany them! That being said, I cannot believe we are already in August. Nooooooo Summer come back! I can feel you slipping through my fingers and I'm not ready for you to leave just yet! The approaching time of the year in Wisconsin stirs up some weird emotions in me, because obviously like any typical "Basic" white girl... (I hate that term) I LOVE fall. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVEEEE Fall. Leaves crunching, pumpkin pie, cozy sweaters, football season, and most importantly Halloween! You're alright Fall, but you still bring Winter, which I am not ok with, but hey I guess it was never up to me.  I've been milking this Summer the best I can, and if you know anything about Wisconsin, you know we sure love our Summer festivals!  Last weekend we took a bus trip sponsored by ...
