Dave Narvarro is Jafar in disguise!

I LOVE INK MASTER. I don't follow reality TV much but oh my sweet lanta, I LOVEEEE Ink Masters. I am shamelessly addicted and I wouldn't have it any other way. Bring on the panel of judges! Let me start off by saying this, Oliver Peck is a B.A dude. That flowing mane of glorious luscious hair, seriously man, it's so perfect, what's your secret? Then there is Dave Navarro who is basically a hardcore, living, breathing version of Jafar from Aladdin, minus being a huge butt hole trying to score with Princess Jasmine. I keed, I keed, Dave seems super cool, he's always the voice of reason when things get heated and he seems like a gentleman! Lastly there is Chris Nunez who likes to keep it real by giving the artists a does of reality each week. Part of the reason this show is so addicting are the pieces these artists create, be that good or terribly, terribly bad. I have found myself on more than one occasion being like, "oh crap, that person is stuck with

Weekend Shenanigans

To quote the ever so fantastic Olan Rogers, "It's a Monday." Welcome to a new week friends! It's a Monday and that means anything crazy can go down! Question to the general public, how was your weekend? Me? Well how kind of you to ponder! I voyaged up to Kohler Andre state park for a last minute camping adventure! I didn't know too much about this park other than it's off the coast of Lake Michigan and that Kohler makes some dope bathtubs, another tidbit I was pumped to discover is neighboring town Sheboygan is the Brat Capitol of the World!!! Woah there, now that is not a title to be taken lightly! Delightful, delicious sausages, I want to nom on you all... and I did. A plethora of brats graced my mouth this weekend, garlic, taco and cheddar cranberry, ERH MERH GERDDDD so happy. Over all I ate very well on this mini trip seeing as my Mom and Step-dad joined us one night and they are wayyyyy overly prepared when it comes to food, I'm talki

Birthday Week!! Toss the confetti!

Party Time!!!! Huzzahhh! Throw your hands in the air, it's my birthday week! No worries I'm not one of those people who forces everyone to celebrate their birthing for a whole week, or even worse someone who insists that it;'s "birthday month".... nah that ain't me. That being said however tomorrow is in fact my day of birth! July 23, not to brag or anything but I do happen to share a birthday with Daniel Radcliffe, which is a magical coincidence indeed, and pretty much verifies that I should be getting my Hogwarts acceptance letter any day now, never mind that I'm far beyond the age of 11. To all you astrology folks out there you know darn well that the boy wizard and I are what are referred to as Cancer-Leo cusps, in other words people who share the traits of two sun signs because they were born as the signs were transitioning from one to another. This can make for some interesting, big personalities, seeing that two signs often have VERY

City Life

Howdy! As someone who often lusts over the thought of moving and starting the next big adventure in a mysterious new setting, there are some things I do love about "The Good Land" that is Milwaukee. It has become known to me recently that I may not be as big of a city slicker as I once thought I was, and that's ok! Not to mention I'm getting a little sick of that nasty "Winter" who keeps showing up and won't leave me alone for 5-6 months every year ( Nobody likes you, go away!!). However, I will say moving to Milwaukee has given me more Wisconsin pride than ever and here are some reasons why.... German Heritage: Milwaukee is loaded with some awesome odes to German Heritage. Ranging from the various beer gardens to Oktoberfest celebrations where you can sip Hefeweizen  from a stein and party with the polka band to your hearts content. Along with a good party comes those inevitable munchies, no worries they've got your back, how does a brat paired

Books, books, booookkkkkssss!

D.E.A.R Time!!! That's drop errrrrthang and read to you! I'm reading this great book and I just wanted you to know... "Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children" is absolutely gripping. This is a book I had started a few years ago and never had the time to finish, just this week I finally picked it up again and boy am I glad I did! Mystery, adventure, magic and as the title states a bit of something peculiar. Bonus: there are creepy old school portraits scattered throughout the tale! Check it out and get your reading on!! As a coworker said to me earlier this week "books are good". Don't question it, just go with it! That is all. Happy almost Friday, friends. :]

Milwaukee is a weird place.

What the actual what. For some situations there is no better way to describe them than "WTF mate", for rizzle. This is a story. Not just any story, but a story where I believe the culprit is either a crazed Hobo or the obvious most probable suspect.... Bigfoot. Either way it was weird and out of the ordinary, without further a do here it is, the tale. Last night around dusk, on a peaceful Sunday in July a strange happening occurred. The location was Grant Park, if you happened to read my older blog posts (thank you :D) you already know Grant Park is a supposed paranormal hot spot of Milwaukee, and an all and all excellent park! That being said, there is something off about this place, although the park is beautiful and offers a view of Lake Michigan that cannot be rivaled, something strange and eerie is going on and it seems every so often I happen to stumble right into that weirdness when it's least expected. Jake and I decided to get out and enjoy the weather
