Offbeat Milwaukee Tourism

Looking for weird in Cream City? I've got you covered.

Shakers Cigar Bar
Aka Milwaukee's haunted bar! Shakers is an absolute must for those who enjoy dabbling in the unknown. Historically famous for mobsters and ladies of the night what's not to love? Sip on some absinthe, have a cigar and get seriously spooky! According to their website Shakers was voted the 5th most haunted bar in the nation! If you're a skeptic looking for a little convincing Shakers may be a good place to start!

Clock Shadow Creamery
One does not simply visit Wisconsin without eating cheese. These are the facts folks, pure and simple. If you're in Milwaukee and looking to try some delightful cheeses why not go big and do a tour too? Clock Shadow Creamery offers cheese-making tours every half hour! Don't forget to sample some traditional German cheese, French cheese and of course fresh Wisconsin cheese-curds! Hopefully you won't find it to be too cheesy for you(sorry, I had to drop that pun).

Comedy Sportz
If you're looking for a good chuckle on a Saturday night hit up Comedy Sportz for a night of fun. Comedy Sportz is Milwaukee's improv hot-spot. It's as if you're watching a live performance of Who's Line is it Anyway. The show is different every night and every thing is made up on the spot so you never know what you're gonna get. Bonus: you can enjoy food and drinks with the show if you so please!

The Safe House
The Safe House is probably the closest thing to achieving your dreams if you've ever wanted to star in a James Bond movie. Tucked away in the heart of downtown Milwaukee lies 'Mission Control' and in order to get in you need to know the password. I know what your thinking... "but I don't know the secret password!"Don't fret my friend! Spies who don't know the password must complete a clearance test to gain access. What exactly does that entail you might ask? I would tell you but I don't want to ruin the fun. 😜

Stay Strange Milwaukee!
